Smoke on the Mountain

EBook Description

It goes without saying that this play/musical is much better seen than read. Smoke on the Mountain PDF EBook I saw it several years ago at the Flat Rock Playhouse and really enjoyed myself. Reading it... it was interesting and quirky and chuckle- PDFworthy, but I didn't put it down asking myself any questions or going back over what I'd read with glee. This is the story of the Sanders Family who travel to Pastor Oglethorp's church one Saturday night for a Family Sing Night. They're late because their bus ran off the road, but they come in with engery a'blazin' and proceed to take over Pastor Oglethorp's plan of the evening. In between good old fasioned bluegrass gospels songs, the characters each have a witness to share, and they're more hilarious than profound, which I appreciated. I like the fact that all of the characters play musical instruments and sing with the exception of June, who signs (as in sign language). Never mind that no one in the congregation that night required sign language. That's her contribution.

Fairly good monologues for young women, a mother and adult men. Like this book? Read online this: I Can Read About Creatures Of The Night, Revenge of Superstition Mountain (Missing on Superstition Mountain, #3).
